HILLSBORO, TEXAS— The Hill College Testing Center is now offering the Assessment Technologies Institute (ATI) Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) nursing entrance exam through remote proctoring.

Hill College Testing Center Director Ms. Dal Lamphere received the training and approval for this alternative to testing in-person. Remote proctoring gives students a virtual alternative to traditional in-person testing required for entrance into the nursing programs at Hill College. While TEAS remote proctoring is available, Hill College is limited to five sessions per month and a maximum of eight students per session. Interested students are encouraged to email testingcenter@hillcollege.edu for exam pricing, availability and scheduling before their desired testing date.

The ATI-TEAS testing dates offered by Hill College are May 8, 11, 18 and 26 at 9:00 a.m. Hill College will also test every Monday in June.

Hill College nursing faculty strive for excellence to ensure classroom theory and evidence-based practice in a clinical setting is attainable. Students gain hands-on experience at a variety of community hospitals and clinical sites.  The programs are offered in a combination of delivery methods including, face-to-face, hybrid and online courses. The Hill College ADN program is proud to be ranked sixth in the state of Texas with a 100 percent licensure pass rate in 2018.

The Hill College associate degree nursing application deadline for the fall semester has been extended to July 1, 2020 for the August 2020 entry. TEAS Test must be completed by June 30, 2020.
